Policy
Members (board members included) do not receive any payment from the foundation. For specific ventures (for example, teaching in Kenya) the teachers will cover their own expenses or obtain the required funding through sponsors. The foundation can help by facilitating this. The costs we do have are predominantly banking costs.
Projects
With financial support for projects in Kenya the financial capacity of the local people and the possibilities for them to contribute are taken into consideration, in order to avoid financial dependence.

ANBI
Together for Life is acknowledged by Dutch tax authorities as an ANBI (Algemeen Nut BeogendeInstelling – translates roughly as: charitable institution working for the common good). Donations to ANBIs can be declared as tax deduction on income tax in the Netherlands.
